His mother Zakia is a retired math professor from whom he got the motivation for education and his late father Rafiq used to sell serving equipment teaching him hard work and self sufficiency. He used to make and sell radios and made his friends pay for borrowing his comic books as a boy and unlike any other Pakistani he also had a flair for the cricket and the National team. In 1967 he had moved to America where his application had been accepted by the University of Illinois at the age of 16 to study Mechanical Engineering. He had stepped out with just $500 in hand and so being responsible got a job which offered only $20 per hour, at which he decided that his destiny was in his hands and he was ready to take the major decisions of his life like he became part of a fraternity group of all-white. He then met and later married Ann Carlson and now is the father of two children.

Still his generous and mild personality was not inflicted enormously but was insignificantly disturbed by this behavior. He agrees with the American mindset that the one thing needed to be changed is the extremist group and consider that on the name of religion people are doing horrible things.
His interest grew in the American Football during his time in University and with the opportunity of his financial success he was able to buy a team of his own. He believes that apart from the business ventures he expects his player to play their best game. He considers it to be his duty to provide the best locker room in the whole of NFL, where his players enjoy luxury and comfort having a completely accessorized status. Though he expects his team to be facing a more competitive team, his team has not been able to outgrow the standard of straight loosing seasons. He considers his life every success, failure and the choices that he had made part of his destiny and fate from which he could not turn his face away.
