World's fastest man Bolt gets Order of Jamaica

JAMAICA: Jamaica sprinter and world record-holder Usain Bolt, centre, signs autographs for his fans after being decorated with the Order of Jamaica, the country's fourth-highest honour, Monday.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, has received one of his native country's highest honours.
Bolt received the Order of Jamaica during Monday's heritage celebrations in the capital, Kingston.

 At 23, Bolt is the youngest person to receive the honour.
In recent weeks, Jamaica has also re-named a highway after the Olympic and world champion and record-holder.

Bolt ran 9.58 seconds in the 100 metres at the world championships in Berlin in August.

He ran 19.19 in the 200, breaking the records he set at the Beijing Olympics.
