All educational institutions closed due to security threats

LAHORE: Intermediate examinations have been postponed until next orders across Punjab including Lahore, whereas hostels of all the educational institutions have been vacated.

According to sources, supplementary examinations under Board of Intermediate have been postponed for indefinite period due to security concerns besides threats delivered to the educational institutions.

Punjab Board spokesman said schedule for the remaining papers would be issued later.

Government has directed to have hostels of all the educational institutions – including Punjab University – vacated in Lahore.

University Regional Campus will remain closed till October 25th, Regional Director, Allama Iqbal University, Pir Saber said.
